Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a tasteless and odorless toxic gas which is poisonous to the human body at high concentrations. Even low level long term exposure can lead to a host of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Smokers and people who live in urban areas tend to have higher than average CO levels. CO can remain in the body for periods up to 24 hours.
Note: Exhaling into a metered device will determine an accurate onsite result.
Respiratory test that can help identify the presence of factors that comprise lung performance, including disease, lifestyle, and environment. Fast and forceful exhalation into a flow sensor tube connected to a spirometer will record immediate results. The quantity and speed of exhaled air is then compared to a predicted value.
